Judah Wayne Collins @ 38 weeks

Your pregnancy: 38 weeks

See the big picture

How your baby’s growing:

Your baby has really plumped up. She weighs about 6.8 pounds and she’s over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). She has a firm grasp, which you’ll soon be able to test when you hold her hand for the first time! Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb.

Wondering what color your baby’s eyes will be? You may not be able to tell right away. If she’s born with brown eyes, they’ll likely stay brown. If she’s born with steel gray or dark blue eyes, they may stay gray or blue or turn green, hazel, or brown by the time she’s 9 months old. That’s because a child’s irises (the colored part of the eye) may gain more pigment in the months after she’s born, but they usually won’t get “lighter” or more blue. (Green, hazel, and brown eyes have more pigment than gray or blue eyes.)

Levi’s Song

From my Friend Brittany Hall

This is Levi’s Song (All You Need is Jesus) – written and performed by Josh and Ashley Franks. Levi is my 10 year old cousin who was diagnosed with juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma glioma(a rare, reoccurring brain tumor) when he was 18 months old. During the first surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain, he suffered a stroke that left him partially paralyzed on the left side. After undergoing 70 weeks of chemotherapy, the tumor was removed at the age of 3. After 3 years of being tumor free, it returned with a vengeance. After undergoing surgery when he was 7 to remove the second tumor, he was left blind. When Ashley met Levi at their revival last year, God laid the words of this song on her heart! I hope it will bless and touch you the way it has my family and I!!! Please go view it and leave some encouraging feedback for budding artists Josh and Ashley!!! The Presence Based Church

presence based church

I am reading this book to prepare for our revival which starts this next Sunday Morning, May 17th @ 8:30 and 11am and then @ 6:30pm. We will conclude the revival services on Monday night @ 7pm. I heard Terry speak at the Congress on Evangelism in Nashville back in January and I felt the urge that we needed Terry to speak to our congregation and to our community. It is my prayer that we will have a record number who come to hear Terry speak, he is an anointed man of God and he has a message that we all need to hear.

MOTHER’S DAY — LETTERS FROM KIDS

Little children can come up with some very interesting ideas. Listen to what some children wrote to their mothers for Mother’s Day.

Angie, 8 years old, wrote: “Dear Mother, I’m going to make dinner for you on Mother’s Day. It’s going to be a surprise. P.S. I hope you like pizza & popcorn.”

Robert wrote: “I got you a turtle for Mother’s Day. I hope you like the turtle better than the snake I got you last year.”

Eileen wrote: “Dear Mother, I wish Mother’s Day wasn’t always on Sunday. It would be better if it were on Monday so we wouldn’t have to go to school.”

Little Diane wrote: “I hope you like the flowers I got you for Mother’s Day. I picked them myself when Mr. Smith wasn’t looking.”

And how about this one from Carol? “Dear Mother, Here are two aspirins. Have a happy Mother’s Day!”
