Book Review: Less Clutter Less Noise
Outstanding read! Actually I had my friend Kindle read this one to me, even better. It appears that God is speaking again and again to me this year about cleaning the clutter out of my life.
I look around my house and there is clutter.
I look around my office and there is clutter.
I look around my computer and there is clutter.
But that is not what this book is about. This book is about the clutter and noise we find in our church bulletins, blogs, web pages, and other church communication tools. Amazing how God is speaking to every area of my life about clutter.
This book does a great job of helping us to see what others see and hear through our printed communication. The author gives definite advice on things that need to be done in order to be a better communicator as well as save lots of money in the process.
Most people are not reading what we have printed and the material on our web pages BUT if we take the time to read and employ the suggestions in books such as this, more people will be informed about what we do because they will take the time to read it.
Good book!
Ronnie
P.S. I just had a late thought. One reason I enjoy reading newspapers on the Kindle is the fact that the clutter of ads have been removed. There is nothing there except the news stories themselves.
