Wytheville District UMC Youth Rally – May 1st 2011 @ Central in Radford
WYTHEVILLE DISTRICT YOUTH RALLY – 5.1.11
6:00pm – 8:00pm Central UMC, 803 Wadsworth St,
Radford, VA
This Youth Rally is going to be a great event to help us kick-off the summer. Worship will be led by the Seth Medley Band and our speaker will be Micah Nicolaus. You may remember Micah from Resurrection this past year. He was one of our MC’s.

Seth Medley Band
Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, this young, energetic group consists of members from different walks of lives who are passionate about music but most importantly strive to glorify God in all they do. Seth, Steve, Drew, Alex, and Olivia have been actively involved in music ministries of their home churches for several years. The band currently leads worship weekly in a contemporary worship service. Seth Medley Band desires to see the hearts and lives of students changed through a meaningful worship experience, focusing on worshiping God in “spirit and truth.” “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23)…
Micah Nicolaus
Before coming to Holston, Micah served as a Youth Pastor in two United Methodist congregations in Texas. He currently serves in extension ministry in the Chattanooga District. Micah uses humor, energy, and story to bring the scripture to life. He is married and has two young sons. Above all, Micah loves the Lord and is passionate about sharing the hope of Jesus with the world. Micah is an Elder in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Also, at this rally we will be electing our new DCYM officers and CCYM representatives. Any youth interested in running for these positions need to do two things:
1) Submit a short biography of 100 words or less about
themselves
2) Complete the correct CCYM Registration Form – see links

About Ronnie G. Collins
I am the Planting Pastor of Out of the Box Worship Center and I also serve as the Associate Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Hillsville Virginia. We are a Multi Site Church, one church in multiple locations. Our 1st campus is located at 225 Fulcher Street in Hillsville Virginia. Our 2nd location is on Main Street in Hillsville, FUMC Downtown, Out of the Box Worship Center, and our 3rd location is 522 North Main Street in Hillsville and this is our Youth Ministry Center, FUMC Downtown “Out of the Box”, Youth Ministry. The most recent ministry we have is “Out Of The Box Worship Center” and we are located at 516 North Main Street Hillsville. This site is now my main focus, along with the Youth Ministry.
I have a Passion to see hurting people come to know Jesus Christ. I believe that we as Christians have to demonstrate God’s Love to the world, rather than just telling them they are loved. I am married and have 3 sons two very special nephews that are like sons, 2 grandchildren, 5 great nephews, and one great niece that are like grandchildren. I am a blessed man.
I attended school at Carroll County High School, Wytheville Community College, Liberty University, and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.
